Kids Rock

Kids Rock is an exciting ministry at Mosspark Baptist Church, specifically for primary school children who have additional support needs. We run in association with our mainstream kids clubs with a focus on providing individualised support. We are based in the south side of Glasgow but the club is not exclusively for people living in this area; we are open to anyone who wishes to attend. Kids Rock

currently runs with an informal structure; children are free to move between activities as they wish. We ask parents to remain at Kids Rock and there is a cafe area where teas/coffees will be available. We have "quiet rooms” available for children who need some space or down time
Kids Rock runs on Saturday mornings from 10am till 11am. If parents felt it would be helpful then additional visits to the church for their child can be arranged before they start so they get to see their surroundings. Our hope is that we can make this an "easy" club to attend; one that understands and caters well for each child. We also hope that it gives parents an opportunity to chat with each other, relax and have a cuppa. We realise the lack of clubs like this and hope to provide a service that really works for parents and children.
