Everyone deserves a safe place to live. We're proud to be housing and homing people every day and every night in our supported and emergency accommodation in Edinburgh, Glasgow and North Lanarkshire.

"We take time, we make time. Each of our supported and emergency accommodation services includes wrap-around support. This means we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. The need for our experience, energy and expertise is, very sadly, at an all time high.

We're here for people experiencing homelessness - on the streets, on our helplines, in our hubs, in our Streetreads library, through outreach support, in our emergency and supported accommodation services and our own SCS Homes.

Thanks to all our team for their hard work, passion and compassion this week.

We don't stop though. Our Edinburgh and Glasgow Hubs are open for drop in support this weekend (9am-5pm), our Street Teams will be out and our emergency and supported accommodation teams are working 365 days and nights a year.

We're here, providing safe places and support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

TOUR of our Glasgow Women’s Connect Hub

A few things to know in addition to the tour;

- We opened the doors a little over 2-years ago after co-designing the space and support programme alongside women with living experience of homelessness.

- We started off by opening 2-days a week and quickly moved to 3.

- We then secured funding to open 4-days a week and in May, on our second anniversary, we moved to opening Monday - Friday.

- Our ambition is to open 7-days a week.

Thank you so, so much to Team Australia for popping into our Glasgow Access Hub to drop in a load of donations that will immediately be distributed across our hubs and accommodation services in the city.

Emma Brookes, Service Lead for Street Services, said: "Partnerships like this demonstrate how major sporting events like Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games can create meaningful social impact - the donated equipment and supplies will help support our work with people experiencing homelessness while keeping useful items in circulation rather than sending them to landfill."

Across Glasgow, we are providing safe places, support and hope to hundreds of people every day - on the streets, through our helplines, in our hubs, through outreach support and our accommodation services.

Our friends at Biffa and Harburn Golf Club are holding a charity golf day on Friday 11th September. The day will be hosted by long term supporter Brian Rooney, recently retired from Biffa and captain of the club.

We would be thrilled if your company, or group of friends, could consider entering a team. Please email [email protected] to arrange a chat and registration.

Harburn is a beautiful course and easily accessible from either the East or West of Scotland.

All proceeds will help us provide safe places, support and hope to people experiencing homelessness.
