🎨 Freedom in Expression Project – Clay Workshop

What a fantastic creative session at our Freedom in Expression Project Clay Workshop! Participants came together to explore creativity, self-expression, and artistic skills through hands-on clay modelling activities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The workshop provided an opportunity for community members to develop new skills, share ideas, build confidence, and connect with others while creating unique clay artwork. Activities like these help foster wellbeing, creativity, and meaningful social connections within our diverse communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to making the session such a success. We look forward to seeing more creativity flourish through the project!

🌟 InspireHer Incubator: Empowering Women Through Social Enterprise 🌟

Empower Women for Change was delighted to host a Community Outreach session at Kingsway Community Connections, introducing local women to the InspireHer Incubator Project.

The session explored how social enterprise can create pathways to employment, self-employment, and entrepreneurship, empowering women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to achieve their goals. Participants were introduced to opportunities for developing business ideas, accessing support services, and connecting with organisations that can help them progress in their careers and business journeys.

We were also pleased to connect attendees with the Scottish Childminding Association, providing valuable information about childminding as a rewarding career opportunity, alongside local job and business support organisations offering guidance on employment, training, and enterprise development.

Together, we are helping women unlock their potential, build sustainable futures, and strengthen their communities.

Empower Women for Change invites ethnic minority women and girls to take part in The Tree of Equality, a creative participatory art session designed to celebrate identity, belonging, hope, strength, and collective action.

This safe and welcoming space offers an opportunity to share personal stories, express hopes for a more equal and inclusive Scotland, and contribute to a powerful collective artwork that reflects our diverse communities.
