The Daffodil Club Improving the quality of life for our most vulnerable older people in Glasgow North East We are based in Easterhouse Parish Church in Glasgow.

THE DAFFODIL CLUB is part of ST GEORGES & ST PETERS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION. The Daffodil Club is an elderly day care centre which operates daily (Monday-Friday 9.30am-3pm). We provide transport, a nutricious meal and a chance for older people to socialise with others in a safe and welcoming environment.

🌼✨ Exciting News from The Daffodil Club! ✨🌼

After many years operating under the charity name St George’s & St Peter’s Community Association, today that name officially changes to The Daffodil Club!

For over 30 years, we’ve been proud to be part of St G&P’s. However, with BEE now established as its own charity, it gave us the opportunity to look at the future of The Daffodil Club and how we want to grow and develop in the years ahead.

Over the next few months, we’ll be transitioning to a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). From today, we will be known as The Daffodil Club, operating under our existing charity number, with our members and volunteers now forming the management committee and helping to steer the organisation forward. This is an exciting step towards becoming even more member-led and community-focused.

As part of this journey, our members have also been busy designing a brand-new logo. They wanted it to reflect what The Daffodil Club means to them, and three themes came through loud and clear: Friendship, Community and Wellbeing. 💛

We’re excited to share our new logo here and continue building the next chapter of The Daffodil Club together.

A few of our older people did a sponsored walk to raise some much needed funds for the club....so far they have managed to raise over £1000...well done girls. The 3 Mary's and Margaret managed to walk round the church at least 5 times each covering well over 6K between them 👏

We had another trip to Hollywood Bowl 🎳 on Friday. Things got very competitive as the 2 teams competed against each other 😊 Thanks to The Area Budget for the funding to allow this...our older people even had a shot on the machines then we topped thebday of with a nice lunch in The Barrbrdge and even oor Mary said the meal was nice 🥣🍔🍗🍳 😀
