Did you spot Michelle, Miss Great Britain Ayrshire, on TV ?
She has created the A-Sisterhood Stride, A-Sisterhood an incredible idea that brings together awareness, fundraising and community support.

She is walking across Ayrshire, from charity to charity, stopping at organisations that have supported women during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

From Women’s Aid and food banks to organisations supporting homelessness, Michelle is shining a light on the incredible work being done to help women across Ayrshire.

A powerful reminder that sisters can support sisters.

We are so proud of you, Michelle. What an incredible initiative.

THROWBACK THURSDAY

Today we’re taking a trip back to one of the most memorable experiences from the reign of our Miss Great Britain 2024/25, Ava Morgan, daughter of our director.

During her reign, Ava travelled to India on a humanitarian visit with one of Miss Great Britain’s charities, A-Sisterhood. The visit was about so much more than travel. It was an opportunity to meet, support and spend time with the inspirational Sheroes, SHEROES Sheroes Hangout whose strength and stories left a lasting impression.

Alongside the important work of the visit, Ava also had the incredible opportunity to experience some of India’s most iconic sights, including the breathtaking Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Her visit was covered by the national newspaper Daily Record, who captured Ava’s experience of visiting this extraordinary landmark.

The impact of that trip continues to stay with Ava, and the memories, friendships and experiences from her time in India will always be a special part of her Miss Great Britain journey.

Here’s a little look back at an unforgettable chapter.

Applications for Miss Great Britain Ayrshire 2027 are officially OPEN! 👑

Whether you’ve always dreamed of entering a pageant or you’re just ready to do something completely out of your comfort zone, meet new people, build your confidence and be part of an incredible community then this could be your year.

We have THREE age categories:

👑 Miss GB Ayrshire: 18–30
👑 Ms GB Ayrshire: 31–44
👑 Ms GB Ayrshire Classic: 45+

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
• Must meet the age requirement for your chosen category
• Open to married women, divorced women & mums
• Must live in the UK & hold a British passport 🇬🇧
• Must have a connection to Ayrshire through living, working or studying in the area
• No nude/topless modelling
• Must represent the values of the Miss Great Britain organisation
• no current or previous criminal convictions.

This is about so much more than a crown. It’s about friendships, confidence, empowerment, new experiences and becoming part of our Ayrshire family. 🤍
