Community InfoSource Asylum Seeker Housing Project Hot water problems? Heating not working? Washing machine faulty? Trouble with your mattress? Don't worry: the ASH Project is here to help.

We help asylum seekers in Scotland report housing repairs to Migrant Help for the accommodation provider Mears, and to help follow up with them when repairs are not completed. If you are an asylum seeker and have a problem in your home that has not been fixed:

1.Have you reported it?
2.Can we help you report it?
3.Have you reported it and are still waiting? We are here to help asylum seekers in S

cotland report housing repairs to Orchard & Shipman and to help you follow up with them when repairs are not completed, or have not been done properly. The Asylum Seeker Housing Project was set up to make a real difference to the housing situation of people supported by the Home Office Compass Contract in Scotland and to carry out housing research on these issues.
