Everyone at Second Chance Project would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Maureen and the family and friends of William for the generous donations made in his memory.

We are deeply honoured that, during such a difficult time, Maureen chose to support our work through donations received at William's funeral. This kindness and generosity will help us continue supporting people in our communities and will make a real difference to the lives of those we work alongside.

We send our sincere condolences to Maureen, her family, and all those who knew and loved William. We are truly grateful for the support shown to Second Chance Project and feel privileged to have been thought of in his memory.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

We are delighted to share that the young people from Williamwood High School have won £3,000 for the Second Chance Project through their YPI Scotland presentation! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, passion and hard work shown by all the young people who chose to support and showcase our charity throughout this year's programme.

It has been a privilege to see students from a number of schools take the time to learn about our work, engage with the issues we address, and advocate so confidently on behalf of our organisation.
While only one team could secure the funding, every young person who participated should be immensely proud of their efforts. Their commitment, compassion and enthusiasm have been inspiring to witness.

A huge congratulations to the Williamwood High School team on their fantastic achievement, and thank you to everyone who supported the Second Chance Project through YPI Scotland.

Pupils from Douglas Academy, St Ninians High School, Williamwood High School, Dollar Academy and Glasgow Gaelic School have chosen the Second Chance Project for their Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) presentations, competing for a £3000 donation to the service.

Christine has been taking part in phone interviews and visited some of the schools sharing information and answering questions about the work we do and the people we support. Students from Dollar Academy also visited the service recently, where they asked lots of thoughtful questions and showed a real interest in learning more about the work we do.

On Monday, the group from St Ninians invited Christine and David along to their finals. Their presentation was fantastic, and it was incredibly emotional listening to their representation of the service. Although they didn’t win, they should be extremely proud of themselves for making it to the finals and for the hard work they put in.

We would like to thank all of the schools who chose to support us and wish them the very best of luck in their competitions.
