As well as letting us use there great space for our Job Club.

As our 10 weeks has come to an end, it’s doesn’t mean we aren’t about Castlemilk any more.

Fun filled Sports Day🏉

Great to have the British Red Cross ESOL group come along and take part in our multi sports session at super soccer Glasgow. The guys took part in various sports such as:

Football⚽️
Badminton 🏸
Boccia🏐
Multi sport games🥏

Brilliant to see so many young people getting out and being active!

Fun filled week with sports, progression, and hard work!

This week we had the pleasure of catching up with one of our old participants Louie who is a Barista with Starbucks 👏🏻

Since starting with Starbucks he has managed to go from strength to strength in building his skills. He has also now recently been accepted to become a coffee master with the company!

We also had the pleasure of meeting up with the guys at our Thursday Football Session, where we chatted all things college, work, and the scores on the doors ⚽️

Great to attend the DWP/King’s Trust Multi Sector and Apprenticeship Recruitment Event today at Glasgow Central Mosque 📝

It was fantastic to speak with so many young people who are exploring their next steps into employment, education and training 👏🏻

Events like this play a vital role in helping young people discover opportunities, grow in confidence and connect with organisations that can support them on their career journey. Really pleased to be involved!

WHAT A WEEK🤘

On Thursday it was great to have some of our participants and new faces along to Goals who enjoyed a fun game of football!

It was also great to catch up with Liam who was part of our employability programme in June and is now out in the world of work in the hospitality industry!
Liam worked hard on his self confidence and communication where he was very quiet and shy when he first came along to street league. However, it was brilliant to see him flourish and become more motivated and confident in his abilities👏
