What an incredible day at Rouken Glen Park.

Together with The Aayah Noor Foundation, our community came together for the Buggy Walk Challenge — taking every step in support of mothers and babies in Gaza.

And thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve raised over £17,000 for the Gaza Maternity Project. 🙌

For mothers facing pregnancy and childbirth in the most unimaginable circumstances, access to safe maternity care can make the difference between life and death.

Every donation, every fundraiser, every share and every step has helped turn compassion into meaningful support.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this possible. ❤️

The walk may be over, but the impact will continue.

🇵🇸 Together, we’re standing with Gaza’s mothers and babies.

Zakat al-Fitr (£5 per person) is an important part of Ramadan and a key charity given for the love of Allah (SWT). It must be given before Eid prayer in the form of what is considered as staple food in the community.

“The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordained Zakat ul Fitr to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions, and to provide food for the needy. It is accepted as Zakat for the person who gives it before the Eid prayer; but it is a mere Sadaqah for the one who gives it after the prayer.” [Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah]
