Another great event today, this time in partnership with the Special Collections team at Glasgow Life Libraries and researchers from Strathclyde University exploring the benefits of library-linked themed walks.
Today's theme was 'Murder, Poison and Justice' focusing on 4 notorious Glasgow murders that took place between 1857 and 1908. After a fascinating talk and the chance to view historic artefacts, we headed out to visit the sites where these grisly crimes took place.
To finish, participants were invited to decide whether the correct verdicts had been reached by the courts. A brilliant way to bring history, storytelling and walking together.
