Glasgow University Renal and Urology Society GURUS aim: to support students with an interest in Renal and Urological medicine and raise money for Kidney Research UK

Aims:
• To raise awareness of Renal medicine and surgery as a career.
• To raise awareness of Urological medicine and surgery as a career.
• To provide SSC, elective and placement advice to students.
• To provide additional clinical and lecture based revision sessions to enhance prior knowledge.
• Raise awareness of Kidney Research UK

• Revision and Skills Nights
• Talks by both stu

dents and specialists
• Shadowing and Volunteer Opportunities
• SSC and Elective Advice
• Promoting the UK kidney week 2014, conferences, prizes and competitions and careers fairs, through posters and social media.
• Fundraising events for Kidney Research UK
