Tomatoes, spring onion, chard, carrots are just some of what's flourishing at our homelessness charity's gardens in Hamiltonhill, thanks to our resident Brian and volunteer Tom.

Brian and Tom tend to the seedlings and plants every Monday, getting together to grow veggies for meals that our Emmaus community share together. Emmaus Glasgow-grown broad beans were a recent addition to our kitchens.

Commenting on gardening with Tom, Brian said: "We go off each other and help each other out."

Take a look at our new signs on our vans, shops and community home, refreshed with the support of Emmaus UK.

Huge thanks to Nikola and the team at Signs Glasgow for their patience, expertise and perseverance throughout this process.

Our vans are now both back on the road and ready to collect furniture donations. These are passed on in our charity shops to help raise money for our residential home and support to help people overcoming homelessness.

We're not just talking vintage Scotland football, we also have Under Armour, Adidas and other brands for a fraction of the price of new.

A massive thank you to our volunteers, including our board of trustees, this Volunteers' Week.

Your efforts help Emmaus Glasgow provide a stable home and life-changing support for up to 27 people with experience of homelessness.

Thanks also to all the volunteers who are part of our award-winning soup kitchens team.

This week, you can find out what it's like volunteering at Emmaus Glasgow by dropping into our Volunteer Open Day at our home and charity shop on Ellesmere Street in Hamiltonhill. Happening this Wednesday from 1pm to 6:30pm.
