Eine Jahrelange Musikalische Freundschaft!

A selection of pictures from the Pipe Band’s concert with Blaskapelle Altmühldorf in Muhldorf, Germany, Sept 9, 2026. During the concert we signed an agreement with the Brass band, committing to supporting each other through friendship and music.

Many thanks to the Voluntary Fire Service Feuerwehr Kreisstadt Mühldorf a. Inn for supporting the event and rest of our visit with transport, catering and hosting.

And special thanks to Peter Berger who 27 years ago had a crazy idea that he needed a pipe band for the Mühldorfer Volksfest by innsalzach24.de, with then pipe major and current Chairman Andy Melvin duly obliging!

It's been a busy past week or so for the band as we took part in the Mühldorfer Volksfest by innsalzach24.de parade on Sunday and are preparing for our joint concert with Altmühldorf Brass Band on Thursday!

Back at home, pipe sergeant Bobby Allen picked up a great 3rd place in the A March at Blairgowrie, following strong performances at the Northern Meeting and Oban. The band sends him huge congratulations!

Well, that's a wrap for the 2026 competition season!

We've had a thoroughly enjoyable season in our first year back in G3B, taking the Scottish Champions title, 3rd in the World Championships, 3rd in the Champion of Champions and 2nd in the drumming Champions of Champions! 🏆🎶🌳🥳

We're taking a bit of a break to prepare for a festival and concert in Bavaria in September 🍻🇩🇪 and then we'll be focused on preparations for 2027.

We have openings for snare and tenor drummers who are keen to play good music in a great environment. If you're playing at a grade 3 level or higher, feel free to get in touch - we'd be happy to hear from you.

Lastly - a big shout out to all our families, friends and sponsors for your support this year - we couldn't have done it without you.
