Heather works at the Wise Group not just because it’s a job, but because she loves the feeling of community she gets when she walks in.

She wasn’t successful the first time she applied for her current position but she kept trying. Why? Because she knew she wanted to create a space for the people she worked with to flourish.

We are looking for the next person to make sure our hubs continue to be the welcoming spaces we want them to be. Think health and safety expertise, with a difference.

Could this be you? Apply for our Health, Safety & Workplace Lead role today.

Welcome to quick fire rounds!

We gave our wonderful energy team a challenge - this or that? What would you have picked? 👀

Did you know using an air fryer typically saves about 40% to 60% of the energy compared to cooking the same meal in a traditional electric oven? 👨‍🍳

Speak to our energy team today for a wee but of support with your energy costs. Let’s get it sorted before winter. 🔗 https://www.heat-thewisegroup.co.uk

Oksana knew where she wanted to go. She just needed a little help getting there. 💛

Finding a home. Applying for jobs. Getting help with a CV and language. Registering with a GP.

They might sound like simple things, but when they all involve different people, places, forms and waiting times, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming.

That’s where having one person in your corner can make a big difference.

Through relational mentoring, Oksana had someone to ask questions, work through the next steps with and help her move forward at her own pace.

And she did. 🙌

Oksana is now working at Hilton and building the future she wanted for herself and her family.

Sometimes you know exactly where you want to go - you just need someone to help make the route a little clearer. 💫

What a wonderful (and very busy!) day we’ve had at the today!

With over 900 customers through the door, more than 30 employer and service stalls, 3 information sessions and 100s of questions answered - we have certainly been kept on our toes!

Today wasn’t just about jobs - because no two journeys into employment are the same. It was about opening doors, breaking down barriers and helping people find the right next step for them. Thank you to everyone for coming and spending the day reminding people what opportunities are in sight.

Let us know your highlights and thoughts about the event! 👇

Our Jobs Fair is off to a roaring start!

We know first hand that someones journey into employment doesn’t start and end with getting a job. It’s about having the right support, skills and opportunities to find work that’s right for you - and, importantly, work that lasts.

That’s why our partnership with Glasgow Kelvin College is so important. By bringing education and relational mentoring together, we can help remove the barriers that might stand between someone and their next step.

As Isla says, you can go to college at any age - and we think that there shouldn’t be barriers stopping you from getting where you want to go.

Come down and chat to us, pick up one of Glasgow Kelvin College’s very pink bucket hats, and see what we can offer. We’ll be here until 1.30pm alongside Glasgow Clyde College, City of Glasgow College and all of the brilliant organisations joining us today.

Whether your next step is learning, support or employment, there’s a place to start here. 💜

Today is the day!

Colin and the team can’t wait to welcome you to our Jobs and Opportunities fair. Head down, have some conversations and see what opportunities await!

With colleges, recruiters and support services in the masses, there’s someone here for everyone, no matter what stage you are at in your journey to education or employment. 🌟
