Yesterday in Glasgow, the Badminton Scotland inter-group competition for U15's and U19's took place.

At under 15 level we took third place behind strong teams from Lothian and North-East losing both matches 4-6. There were some tight games, but we had three primary school girls in our team, so we look forward to next year.

Our team was Adrian, Amulya, Divyam, Leo, Murray, Reeya, Sharanya, Shreeya and Sumanth.

In the under 19's event unfortunately only Lanarkshire and Lothian entered however we still had to overcome Lothian to retain the title for the second year. We had some of our top young players playing against and experienced Lothian team and came away winners 9-1.

Our team was Akshara, Charlie, Calum, Chloe, Kieran, Nathan, Pranavi, Reyansh and Thenoo.

The competition entry and t-shirts were provided by our group. Please support the group's fundraising via their raffles, cafes, clothing sales etc.
