We are already through the first two weeks of our Summer Reading Plan! For the next two weeks we are reading through Mark's Gospel.

It's never too late to join! If this is the first you are hearing of the reading plan, we are going through the 4 Gospels and Acts over summer, taking the time to read in longer sittings rather than by verse or chapter, immersing ourselves in the narrative flow of the life of Jesus and the early Christians. We are reading through each book over the course of 2 weeks. Approach it at your own pace - you might read through once or more over the fortnight. Check out our previous posts for all the details!

We are having a giving day this Sunday 31st May. This is an opportunity to participate in the life of our church and take steps forward in alignment with the commitment we made together at the start of 2026.

As always, giving is a shared practice in kingdom life, and we must not worry about how big or small a contribution we can make. We can make a difference together and we have already seen this over recent years. There can be joy in giving and each should give according to their own means, as God gifts us all in different ways. All we ask is that everyone considers prayerfully how the Lord might be guiding them personally for this Sunday. It is also a day where we hope to encourage new givers who don't yet give to the life of the church.

There will be various ways you can give on Sunday, all of which can also be accessed online via the links in the bio.

Join in with our Summer Reading! As a church we want to be deeply rooted in God's Word. One way we are doing this over the summer months is to approach reading the Scriptures in longer sittings.

Over June, July and August we will read through the 4 Gospels and the book of Acts, with two weeks in each book. You are encouraged not to read by verse or chapter, instead taking 20 minutes or longer to read - more like you are reading a novel, allowing yourself to be immersed in the world of the New Testament.
