Calling all GUHS Members🗣️

Our annual AGM will take place on Thursday 11th April 20:00

📍1/2 282 Woodlands Road

What is the AGM? The AGM is our Annual General Meeting where we elect our new committee for the 2024-25 season!!

If yourself or anyone you know is interested in running for any of the committee roles for next year, please come along with a little speech of why you’d be great for the role

Being part of the committee is such a great way to get involved in the society and add to your CV - and some of the roles are also added to your University transcript (President/Treasurer/Secretary roles) 😮

Even if you don’t want to run, the future of the society lies in our members - come and vote

We will provide free quesadillas and some celebratory tequila - first come first served

Get your costumes ready for our upcoming Spooktacular Subcrawl!

We are having a crossover with the GU Languages and Cultural societies for Friday the 27th of October, and we are starting the night off in The Old School House for 7pm. Please arrive on time as we will be sorting groups to travel in.

We are highly encouraging costumes, please bring an all-day subway ticket and some Halloween cheer... 👻

Check out the second slide of this post for our pub plan for the night, we will be going in chronological number order across the city, and we hope that you will join us for a very spooky and fun night! 🎃

¡Una vez más, nos complace presentar la primera y esperada Ceilidh del año! Ven a bailar, socializar y hablar Español el 12 de Octubre en el GUU dinning hall a partir de las 19:00.

Estaremos vendiendo tickets en todos nuestro intercambios (en Dram todos los jueves a partir de las 20:00) y en frente de la biblioteca el jueves 28 de septiembre de 10:00 a 15:00.

Los tickets son 5£ para nuestros socios y 7£ para los no-socios. ¡Nos vemos pronto!

The famous and long awaited Hispanic Society ceilidh is back! Join us on the 12th of October from 19:00 at the GUU dinning hall for a night of dancing, socializing and Spanish.

We will be selling tickets at all of our intercambios (at Dram every Thursday from 20:00) and in front of the library on Thursday the 28th from 10:00 to 15:00.

Tickets will 5£ for our members and 7£ for our non-members. See you soon!
