Festive Fun at the Panto!

Over 130 people ventured out on a wet and windy night on Tuesday 9 December to enjoy a fantastic festive performance of Pinocchio at The Findlay Church, Woodside. The event was very well received and we are delighted that people are still talking about it days later!

Special thanks to The Findlay Church Team who kindly gave us free use of the church’s theatre-style venue. The panto was performed by Halo Arts, a community arts organisation who delivered a brilliant, high-energy production that was enjoyed by all ages.

A big thank you to all colleagues who helped plan, organise and support the event, their hard work made the evening a great success.

We’re also grateful to our contractors who kindly donated selection boxes for QCHA's own Santa to give out on the night. Their contributions helped make the event feel even more special.

Thanks again to everyone involved for spreading some festive cheer! 🎄

Despite the driech December weather we had a full house at The Courtyard last night (Thursday 11 Dec) with around 100 local people enjoying a quality community panto! The event also featured craft stalls selling work by local makers.

The show was delivered by Halo Arts, whose talented team brought the story of Pinocchio to life with their energy, humour, and festive sparkle! Delighting audience members of all ages. Some residents even remarked it was “the best panto they've seen!" so high praise indeed!

Thanks to all who attended, and also to the The Courtyard Pantry for use of the cafe space. Thanks also to our contractors for donating selection boxes for Santa's grotto, the kids (and some big kids!) loved them! It's a whole team effort and we couldn't do it without everyone helping and of course participating in the event!
