Last week, we chatted with our friend Jennifer Newman from the NHS Lanarkshire, Health Improvement Team about bowel cancer awareness. Jennifer shared important information on bowel screening, eligibility, and the signs and symptoms to look out for. Jennifer also shared some trusted websites where you can access more information and support.

Please share this post to help raise awareness about bowel health. Early intervention can have a very high success rate when it comes to treatment and recovery.

Join us next week as we share some key takeaways from our session with Karen Doherty, a couples counsellor and neurodiversity specialist. You may have seen Karen on the Netflix documentary Blue Therapy, where she support couples with communication and relationship challenges.

If we have any couples therapists in Cambuslang or Rutherglen who would like to join me for a chat next week, please feel free to get in touch. We’d love to hear your experiences and insights to help support couples in our community ❤️

On World Athletics Day, we had the joy of chatting with Abbie - Girls Section Lead and U18s Coach at Cambuslang Rugby - Junior Section at Cambuslang Rugby Club🏉

We spoke all things rugby for girls, from how to get started, to the fantastic opportunities available for young players across Cambuslang and Rutherglen.

Abbie and the team are inviting the opportunity to girls aged 9–13 years in the community to pop along to the club for a FREE trial at their Open Day tomorrow:

Don’t worry if you don’t have boots to train in for the open day - you can borrow a pair from their boot selection. Abbie shared that there’s room for everyone to play and so do pop down. Take your friends along and join in the fun.
