Donald joined us on CamGlen Radio to share his Kerby journey so far and his vision for bringing this classic street game back to life!

Donald’s vision is to see Kerby revived, grow within our communities and eventually become a recognised professional sport! 🙌

We had the pleasure of chatting with My Coach TL, a women’s lifestyle coach and sports therapist specialising in endometriosis.

TL shared her own lived experience of endometriosis, speaking openly about her journey and the challenges of living with the condition. 💛

We hope her story helps to inspire, support and remind anyone living with endometriosis that they’re not alone and there are some things that you can do outwith your medical care to support your body and your overall wellbeing.

📻Join myself and Ivana tomorrow, Thursday on CamGlen Radio from 10–11am on CamGlen Radio on 107.9FM for another hour of community, wellbeing, local news, events and great music! 🎶

🌍 Our special guest will be Karen from Climate Action Lanarkshire, who’ll be joining us to talk about the hub, the work they do, and all the exciting plans for their upcoming festival.

The festival will run from the 7th of September to the 20th of September 2026, bringing people and communities together to learn, connect and take positive action for our environment. 🌱💚

We’ll be finding out more about the hub’s aims and activities, the support and opportunities they offer, what’s happening throughout the festival, and how local people can get involved. There will be plenty to look forward to, with events and activities designed to inspire, inform and encourage everyone to play their part in creating a more sustainable future.

It’s all about community, connection, climate action and making a positive difference locally.

We will be sharing some local activities/events and our spotlights of the week and of-course some great tunes along the way.

We had a wonderful conversation with local resident and author David Littlejohn Beveridge about his book 📕 Earth Under My Heel — a fascinating journal of his experience travelling across Northern Spain on one of the worlds most famous pilgrimages - the Camino de Santiago back in 2013 🥾

If you are considering taking this pilgrimage, I highly recommend you read the book. David includes his pre journey training, his must takes and his log of the journey across 800 kilometres from the start to the finish and back home, all commencing to and from Cambuslang train station. It took David just over a month to reach the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. What a journey !

David also has another book 📕 you may want to read called Water under the Keel which is all about his journey across the waters on planet Earth 🌍 David was a Captain Mariner in his working life. As well as David’s books, you will also find his fabulous artwork in the gallery from his travels and they are a must see !
