Rangers paid around £4.3 million (plus potential add-ons) to sign Tochi Chukwuani from Austrian side Sturm Graz in January 2026.

He arrived in that window to help bolster then coach Danny Röhl’s squad.

During his time as Rangers, Danny Röhl primarily utilised two tactical systems:

• The 4-2-3-1 Formation
• The 4-2-2-2 Formation

Since the arrival of Derek McInnes he has been a bit part player and hasn’t started a game since the Conference League match against Jablonec.

In the early stages of McInnes time at Rangers he was used in a few different formations while the new manager utilised the squad he had at his disposal.

Can McInnes get the best out of Chukwuani?

Due to the uprise in form of the whole squad will Chukwuani need to wait for his opportunity?

Rohl used Chukwuani more as a sitting 6 but since the arrival of McInnes he’s played more as an advanced 8.

We have a few players in the squad who have been written off early by the fans.

Can Chukwuani revive his short Rangers career?

Is Dragojević the successor to Raskin if or when the Belgian leaves Rangers?

The Serbian has had limited game time since joining in the summer.

At only 20, the lad has a big future ahead of him.

Kosta Nedeljković has played a total of 133 minutes across all competitions for Rangers since joining the club on a season-long loan from Aston Villa in August 2026.

He has earned 3 international caps for the Serbia national senior team since moving to Rangers.

At Rangers he is competing with Dujon Sterling for the right back position but they are very different type of player.

Nedeljković is seen as a highly dynamic, energetic, and aggressive "traditional" overlapping full-back, compared to Sterling who is a defend first type player who is an excellent man marking defender.

Will Nedeljković be used more when we play sides who want to play a low block while Sterling will feature versus sides who have a threat down the wings?
