The Ashgill Recreation Centre - ARC The Ashgill Recreation Centre (ARC) is a community facility operated by Glasgow City Council. We are based in the Milton area of Glasgow.

The ARC (Ashgill Recreation Centre) is now on FACEBOOK. The ARC is open Tuesday to Friday 9am - 9pm and Saturday 9am - 3:30pm and has a range of facilities that the local community can access! Located on Ashgill Road within the Milton area of Glasgow, Our facility has a community gym (only £13 for a membership for the rest of 2021),
A Learning Centre where members of the public can access PCs for

free. We also have a community cafe and a large games hall for activities. We have a range of rooms which can be used for meetings and a hall suitable for kids parties. A number of classes and learning opportunities also run from the ARC via our partners... (when COVID restriction reductions allow - dates TBC)

Welcome Back

Welcome back to all the children and young people that have been away over the summer. We hope you all had a good summer break and are ready for the year ahead.

We have new forms for all children and young people to fill in and get signed by parents or guardian. Therefor on Wednesday 12th August we will be issuing new forms to all young people. Due to getting all the forms completed there will be limited or no activities. We will focus on forms and providing information about the coming year.

It is important that these forms are fully completed, signed by a parent or guardian and returned as soon as possible.

Just a reminder that we have our gala day on Saturday 8th August 12.00pm - 3.00pm. The gym will be closed on Saturday due to this event.

Important Notice

The ARC's Gala Day in on Saturday 8th August and we ask that all cars are removed from the car park on Friday 7th August. Last year we had an issue with one that resulted in some of our rides not being able to get into the car park and we are very keen for that not to happen again.

Please note that the centre will close at 3.30pm on Wednesday 22nd July. This will allow us to carry out some staff training. We will be open as normal on Thursday. Also the Cafe will close at 12.45pm

Tuesday 23rd June at 18:00 in the ARC will be a Youth Group Meeting for New Members and existing ones. The meeting will give people a chance to meet the Youth Committee and find out what they are doing and see if you can get involved. Refreshment will be provided.
