Don't forget that tomorrow is Purple Friday!

This year’s theme focuses on the the
person whose small gestures promote an inclusive atmosphere for LGBTI people.
It’s about the little things like avoiding assumptions about people’s partners, breaking down unnecessarily gendered language, making people feel included.
We want to spread awareness that anyone can be an
and the small, maybe even mundane, day-to-day gestures are equally, if not more, important than the grand gestures.

LGBT Youth Scotland will be launching a video campaign highlighting four everyday heroes, all people who make the lives of their LGBTI friends, colleagues and customers better in small day-to-day ways.
They will be asking people to share their campaign tagging someone that they think is an .

This will be focused on Facebook where people will also get the opportunity to make a donation to LGBT Youth Scotland.

Folks, see a message from the Students’ Association.

I am the new project worker for the Students’ Association and I am responsible for supporting social and activities. I am currently looking to invite you back along to LGBT on Wednesday 19th March at 4.30pm in the Students; Association common room to have a catch up on how you are all getting on. We are looking to recruit more students to the society and we have a few exciting ideas about campaigns including:

• Equal rights for gay people donating blood
• Commonwealth games and laws surrounding 85% of the countries participating

We would be delighted to see you come along, I am going to buy in some Dominos pizzas, soft drinks and a few other little things. If you could let me know if you could make it along so I can get an idea of numbers I would be grateful.

Best regards

Mark McCafferty

if you have just watched tonight Dispatch "Hunted" on Channel 4, then you understand when I say get involved.

If you have just watch this, then I offer you the biggest hug ever as I understand the heart wrenching, sickened feeling you are experiencing right now.

please spare a moments thought for our brothers & sisters in Russia & the living hell they are in right now.

Human rights defenders in Russia have told us they're deeply worried about what will happen once the world’s media turn their attention away from Russia. It's taken us 25 years to get to where we are in Britain, now we intend to support activists worldwide on their long journey to equality. ...
