Many thanks to all those kind people who donated to our two walkers in this years Glasgow Kiltwalk 2026.
Steve and Ian took about 6 hours to complete the 14.5 mile journey from Clydebank to Balloch along with thousands of others in the April sunshine.
Apart from a few aching bones they remained physically intact sustained by the frequent stops for water, bananas and chocolate bars !!

Between them they have raised over £2400 which will go towards the improvement projects proposed by Victoria Park Community Trust and Friends of Victoria Park.
Your generosity is overwhelming and will allow us to continue our important work in the park.

Basketball / netball courts painting completed and looking great! Project also upgraded to two courts and built new wheelchair accessable path at the side of the courts. Thanks to vpct , glasgow life and sarah Gandon for their hard work 👏👏 courts are free to use

Only one sleep to go ! And it’s going to be dry ! And all FREE 👏😁

Loads things happening this Sunday 12-4pm in Victoria Park and the weather is looking good!

Unfortunately the launch of the upgraded Basketball and Netball courts from one to two courts has had to be postponed as the painting not going to be finished due to the rainy weather . However will be re-opened very soon !
