We’re heading to Pride Edinburgh this Saturday! 🌈

We’ll be marching alongside our friends and supporters from Next and we’d love you to join us. If you’d like to come along, drop us a ✉️DM or contact [email protected].

Scotland’s LGBTQ+ community has been at the forefront of the fight against HIV since the 1980s. Now, together, we can lead the world in tackling HIV stigma and ending new HIV cases by 2030.

Join us – let’s march loud and proud.

Today would’ve been Terry Higgins’ 81st birthday. But, instead, he’ll always be 37.

Terry was the first named person in the UK to die of an AIDS-related illness in July 1982. When no one knew what HIV was, or how many lives it would take.

Terry's partner Rupert and close friend Martyn set up Terrence Higgins Trust in his name to raise awareness, fight for action and ultimately save so many lives.

Everything we’ve done for the past 44 years has been in Terry’s name. Every HIV test, every phone call answered, every counselling session for someone newly diagnosed.

Say happy birthday Terry with a message in the comments and, if you can, donate today: tht.org.uk/terry

Congratulations to Alison Thewliss MSP on her appointment as Minister for Community Care.

Having previously championed the rights of people living with HIV as Vice Chair of the APPG on HIV and AIDS, we know she shares our 2030 goal. We look forward to working with her on urgent actions, including securing equitable access to peer and mental health support, and re-engaging those who are currently lost to care.

Congratulations to Maree Todd MSP on her return to the public health brief as Minister for Mental Wellbeing, Public Health, Sport, Alcohol and Drugs.

Having previously championed the HIV Transmission Elimination Proposal, we know she shares our 2030 goal. We look forward to working with her again on urgent actions, including rolling out opt-out testing in emergency departments and delivering a national online HIV prevention service, alongside tackling the well-documented links between HIV stigma and mental health.
