What Is ARFID?

Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) is a fairly new eating disorder. People with ARFID are extremely selective eaters and sometimes have little interest in eating food. They may eat a limited variety of preferred foods, which can lead to poor growth and poor nutrition.

ARFID usually starts at younger ages than other eating disorders and is more common in boys.

Dementia has touched my family and it can be devastating, not only for the person diagnosed but for all their loved ones too. Did you know that Town Break Dementia Support in Stirling is hoping to turn a vision into reality which would bring and provide fantastic Vital Dementia services throughout Forth Valley,

They have submitted a proposal for the acquisition and transformation of the derelict premises at -
Beech Gardens, Stirling into a dedicated
Dementia Support and Wellbeing Centre.
How amazing would that be.

Just been to this and if you thinking of going DONT, it’s an absolute disgrace, think it’s a SCAM where someone has made an absolute fortune. Literally walked round in 30 secs. Apparently there was choc demo, wee film and characters in morning but as it was so overpriced and not worth value, folk complaining.. the guy that organised shut it all down by midday and nothing was happening, just a visual walk through. Very very angry people there, travelled long distances with very excited children, paid fortune for tickets. I left just as lady was calling police as she felt organiser had to be held accountable for scamming so many people. He said we would all be refunded but very doubtful. 🥵

Police now in attendance as very very angry people arriving and children extremely upset.
