Do you have any special interests or deep passions that you want to be able to rant about to a captive audience? Well, at our presentation night, anyone is free to come up and give a talk about any topic they want (within reason)! We'll be allocating 10 minutes for each speaker, and although this is not a hard limit, we might cut people off if they go over the limit so make sure to prepare it under.
The room will have wall-mounted screens on which you can present your PowerPoint on. If your presentation touches on any sensitive topics, be sure to include a list of content warnings at the start. We'd ask you to avoid any topics that may cause discomfort e.g. current politics - if you're unsure what is appropriate, please contact us or our Welfare Officer!
Wondering how to bring along your PowerPoint? You can either bring it along on a USB drive, or email it to us before the event at [email protected], although we ask that if you bring it on a USB drive, you should still let us know via email that you'll be presenting.
