Ecumenical Service of Remembrance – 30th Annual Service

As we prepare for our 30th Annual Ecumenical Service of Remembrance this November, we are now gathering the names of loved ones to be remembered during the service.

Please be assured that all names provided to FASS for last year’s service will remain on this year’s list. If you would like a name removed, please contact us and let us know. Otherwise, the name will be read out during the service.

If you would like to add the name of a loved one to this year’s service, please contact Sheree on 0141 737 3699.

To protect the privacy and wishes of families, we ask that the person providing a name is the next of kin or has the appropriate authority to do so, and that contact details are provided when submitting the name.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us come together once again to remember, honour and celebrate the lives of those we have lost. 💙💛

30th Annual Ecumenical Service of Remembrance 🕯️

Thursday 19th November 2026 | 6:30pm
📍 St Alphonsus R.C. Church, Calton, Glasgow

This year, we are honoured to mark the 30th Annual Ecumenical Service of Remembrance — three decades of coming together to remember, reflect and honour those whose lives have been affected by alcohol and drug-related loss.

We invite families, friends, supporters and members of our wider community to join us for an evening of remembrance, music, reflection and prayer.

This is a service for everyone, regardless of faith or background. Whether you are remembering someone you love, carrying your own loss, or simply coming to stand alongside others, you are warmly welcome.

For 30 years, this service has provided a space where memories can be shared, lives can be honoured and no one has to feel alone in their grief.

🕯️ 30 years of remembrance.
🤍 30 years of compassion.
🕊️ 30 years of standing together.

Join us as we remember those we have lost and hold their memories close.

Everyone is welcome.

💙 Feedback like this reminds us why we do what we do. 💛

Supporting families affected by someone else's alcohol or drug use is at the heart of everything we do. Knowing that someone felt welcomed, understood, and supported during one of the most difficult times in their life means the world to our team.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share their experiences. Your feedback not only encourages our team but also helps other families know they don't have to face addiction alone.

If you or someone you know is affected by a loved one's alcohol or drug use, we're here to listen and support you.

✨ Meet the Team – We've Grown! ✨

We're delighted to welcome some new faces to the FASS family! 💙

As our team continues to grow, so does our ability to support more families across Glasgow who are affected by addiction.

Our newest team members bring a wealth of experience, compassion and dedication to their roles, and we're excited to have them on board. Over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing each of them, sharing a little about their background and the important work they'll be doing to support the families who access our services.

Please join us in giving our new colleagues a warm FASS welcome! 👋

Together, we're committed to providing a safe, supportive and understanding space for families, because no one should have to face the impact of addiction alone.

Alcohol Awareness Week 💙

This week we are raising awareness of the impact alcohol addiction can have on the whole family.

If someone you love is struggling with alcohol, it's important to remember that you don't have to face it alone. Support is available for families and loved ones too.

At FASS, we provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space for family members affected by a loved one's addiction.

Together, we can reduce stigma, support families, and remind people that no one has to cope alone.

If you need support, we're here to help.
