We are very sad to learn of the death of our friend Jamie Miller, who was a regular member of the group for many a year and was a well known face in the fan/cosplay community in the central belt.
Jamie was also part of our “Twelve Timelords A’Leaping” for the one show, as seen in the photos below.
Jamie died after suffering from cancer. We’re sorry his life has been cut short and our thoughts are with his friends and family at this difficult time.

Join us this Sunday for our last hurrah at the Hope and Vincent as we prepare to move back to the Crystal Palace. Big thanks to the lovely staff at the Hope and Vincent who have been lovely to us over the past few years. Hosted by David Scott, we’ll be there from 6.30pm till late.

BACK TO THE CRYSTAL PALACE! This Sunday from 6.30pm

The Return of The King!

We’ve searched high and low for an accessible, cost effective and quiet enough venue where most if not all of our members can feel at home. And the universe has taken us home! Back to the Crystal Palace, our longest home, where we resided from 2004 to 2020.

Over the next mont or so we’ll be returning to the Hope and Vincent one last time to say good bye and thank the lovely staff there for all their kindness and great service to the group. We have listened and it looks like we’ll be heading back to the Crystal Palace for good.

Come along this Sunday and let’s see how it goes! If everybody is happy we will be returning for the foreseeable future.

Accessibility and affordability are important to our community and whilst any venue has its issues, the Crystal Palace seems to most meet our needs.

We will also continue occasional afternoon meet-ups at Truman’s if the demand continues to be there.

I for one am very excited about returning to a place I met so many friends and holds most of my best memories of this group.

What a fantastic event we had today! Join us tonight for our post event quiz at 7pm (in half an hour).

We’ll have a tuck shop, a raffle, an exclusive video interview with the writer, free jelly babies courtesy of our sponsor Scotty Sweets and a special video presentation!
Suggested donation £5 but please come anyway if this is a barrier! All welcome!

THIS SUNDAY! PAUL MCGANN! THE MASTER! Come along and join us in celebrating 30 years of the TV Movie, which has recently been remastered in 4K with surround sound.
We are hosting our celebration in the screening room of the Pyramid at Anderston from 1pm to 4pm with a 90 minute slot for a ‘main feature’ of some kind that may involve a 4K Blu ray, a 4K projector and the surround sound system who can say? We also have the lovely Matthew Jacobs, writer of the TV movie, in an exclusive interview with our good friend and former President Kenny Smith. There will be a raffle with some amazing prizes to be won and a tuck shop and FREE JELLY BABIES (sponsored by Scotty Sweets).
