From 1pm to 4pm at the Pyramid in Anderston, followed by drinks at the Crystal Palace from 5pm to late.

Following successful trials during the World Cup, we have decided to expand our afternoon/alternative venue meetups. We found that Truman's was popular for the afternoon and people very much enjoyed returning to the Crystal Palace after Truman's closing at 7pm.

So we are going to meet at Trumans at 3pm for those that wish the afternoon meetup and then we will head to the Crystal Palace for 7pm. Please join us!

The meetup will be hosted by current leader David Cherry and we welcome anyone who is a fan of Doctor Who to join us for chat, laughs and a welcoming atmosphere.

We forgot to share the photos from our 40th anniversary party back in 2022. We look forward to using the 45th anniversary as an excuse for a party next year!

We at the The Glasgow Doctor Who Society are sad to hear of the passing of Doctor Who novelist and audio writer Justin Richards. Many of our members have enjoyed his works over the years. He created the character Irving Braxiatel and wrote many stories. He has been living with a rare form of dementia.

The Big Finish team were deeply saddened and shocked to learn of the passing of our friend and colleague, Justin Richards, who died peacefully at the weekend. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. A full tribute will follow.

CANCELLED - DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL and BAD WOLF/RTD

The BBC has announced that the previously announced Christmas special will not be going ahead and the show will not be moving ahead with RTD and Bad Wolf. The show is being put out to tender with the intention to preserve the long term future of the show.

Here’s hoping this is all for the best in the end!
