🎉 Happy 31st Birthday, Food Train! 🎉

Today we're celebrating 31 years of supporting older people to live well at home.

To mark the occasion, we've taken a trip back to 1995 – the year Food Train began. From 23p tins of baked beans and lunchbox favourites to the launch of Cathedral City Cheddar, we've put together a nostalgic look at what was filling supermarket trolleys when our journey started.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Food Train over the past 31 years. Here's to many more years of community, connection and friendship. ❤️

This is about the power we have to make a difference. Every week, our Meal Makers cooks are using their hands to make delicious meals and support older people across Scotland to eat and live well.

If you could spare a few hours a week to share some home-cooked food and a chat, you can find out more about volunteering with us at Meal Makers at https://thefoodtrain.co.uk/support-us/volunteering/
