This is an exciting opportunity to meet and collaborate with Scottish Groups and Activists.

We're very excited to announce that this month the Q***r Classics Book Club is hosting a reading and a fundraising for Amnesty International UK!

The group has picked Christopher Isherwood's Goodbye to Berlin (1939) to kick-off the club! They will gather in Category Is Books (34 Alison Street, G42 8NN) at 7pm on August 13th for discussion.

The event is free to attend but donations to Amnesty are welcomed!

It was great to be at the on Saturday, chatting about Amnesty International and Uyghur Solidarity month!

We are encouraging everyone to learn one Uyghur word a day throughout August in solidarity with Uyghur people.

Our chosen word was 'mehr', meaning affection, because there is always mehr room for love 💛

We're excited for another great speaker for our July meeting (Thursday 9th July): Florence Oulds (she/her), Policy & Public Affairs Officer at the Equality Network!
Florence will be speaking about what the Equality Network does as an organisation, and crucially, about the current context for trans people in Scotland and the UK. She'll discuss the Supreme Court judgement and the new Code of Practice, and most importantly, the impacts these developments are having on trans people's lives and rights. What can we do to support trans lives and rights?
