Alhamdulillah, another successful and exciting session as the children travelled back in time to explore the history of the Ottoman Empire!

They learned how the Ottoman Empire was established, discovered traditional Ottoman clothing, visited a mini Ottoman market stall, crafted their own wooden swords, and took part in a council meeting with fellow “tribe leaders” to discuss ideas and make important decisions.

The session was filled with laughter, excitement, creativity, teamwork and lots of valuable learning. 😁😆

A huge thank you to all the parents for bringing their children and supporting our programme. We hope these sessions continue to inspire our young Muslims to learn about, appreciate and feel proud of their rich Islamic history and heritage. 💙

Our children travelled back in time to discover the beauty and brilliance of Al-Andalus! 🌍

They learned about the remarkable achievements of the Andalusians, from their stunning architecture and peaceful gardens to their clever water systems and inventions. The children especially enjoyed getting creative and building their very own water machines! 💧⚙️

It was wonderful to see them learning about the greatness of our Islamic history while exploring, creating and having fun. May these sessions inspire our children to be proud of their heritage and to become the thinkers, inventors and leaders of tomorrow. 🤍

A huge thank you to all the parents for bringing their children along and supporting these sessions. May Allah reward you all, place barakah in your children, increase them in beneficial knowledge and make them a source of goodness for the Ummah. Ameen. 🤲

Alhamdulillah, this week's Around the World with Islam: Golden Age of Islam session was a great success! 🥳

The children enjoyed a day filled with learning, creativity and hands-on activities. They discovered the lives and achievements of famous Muslim scholars, inventors and pioneers, then had the opportunity to explore their work through practical workshops in engineering, mathematics, medicine, geography and electricity. 🩺🌍➗🟰➕⚡️💡

It was wonderful to see so many children engaged, asking questions, building models and taking pride in the incredible contributions Muslims have made throughout history. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents for bringing their children and supporting the programme. Your encouragement plays an important role in helping our children remain connected to Islam and the masjid. 🫶

We hope these sessions inspire our young people to learn from our Islamic history, recognise the greatness within their heritage and believe that, with faith, knowledge and hard work, they too can become scholars, inventors, leaders and positive contributors to the world. 🥰

May Allah increase our children in beneficial knowledge, strengthen their Islamic identity and allow them to help the Ummah rise again. Ameen. 🙏🏻🤲

Alhamdulillah, Week 1 of our Young Muslims Toolkit sessions in collaboration with AMINA – Muslim Women's Resource Centre. 🌸

It was heartening to see our community come together, with a good turnout and young people engaging in meaningful conversations, activities, and learning. These spaces remind us of the importance of investing in our youth and building strong connections within our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Safa and the entire AMINA team for their time, effort, and dedication in making this partnership such a success. May Allah swt place barakah in this collaboration and allow it to continue benefiting our young people for years to come.

This summer, let your child travel through Islamic history with four exciting, interactive sessions at Ibrahim Masjid.

Each child will receive a passport and collect a stamp at every destination. Those who complete the journey will receive a special certificate reward.
