Scottish Ethnic Minority Deaf Charity SCIO Scottish Ethnic Minority Deaf Club( SEMDC) formerly known as Glasgow Asian Deaf Club (GADC) is Scotland's leading Ethnic Minority Deaf Club.

GADC was established in 1998. The Club became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) on 7th September 2017 when it became known as SEMDC. The Club offers a warm and friendly welcome and a wide range of services, events and advice to its members. There is no barrier to communication. Information is provided in British Sign Language (BSL) and can be relayed in International Sign for

our members who are new to BSL. The club meets every second Saturday at The Pentagon Centre, 36-38 Washington Street, Glasgow, G3 8AZ from 1.30pm - 4.30pm.

Aleem organised a cricket session for SEMDC members @ Glasgow Club Kelvin Hall yesterday. The two coaches, Barry and David were great. They taught the members basic rules, how to bowl and the correct way to hold the cricket bat. After some batting and bowling practice we enjoyed a friendly game.
All the members really enjoyed themselves and are keen to go back for more sessions.
