Parkhead Nazarene

Parkhead Nazarene Passionate about God! Passionate about People! www.pn.nazarene.org.uk We’re convinced that God’s heart is for us all and not against us.

At Parkhead Nazarene we're at the start of a new phase of the church’s life, with lots to learn and do together. We're excited about demonstrating God’s love and compassion in Parkhead, in our homes, our workplaces and wherever else we spend our lives. As we encounter Him in our daily lives we become increasingly in awe of Him and increasingly passionate about Him. And we’re passionate about His w

orld and about each other. Being together is important for us – everyone needs to belong somewhere. At Parkhead Nazarene we make every effort to welcome whoever we meet, wherever we meet them. We all benefit and flourish from being in a community where we are loved, accepted and needed. We’re also concerned about issues that negatively and unfairly affect lives here in Parkhead and around the world. We believe there’s a better way to live as a local community and as a global community. So we look to help each other live in ways that contribute to a better world and a better life for us all.

Hey everyone.
Just a quick one from me today.

We’ve stepped into a new series in Isaiah 61 and Sunday was more than an introduction; it was an invitation. An invitation to step into the Kingdom manifesto. It’s about the mission; bringing good news, freedom, and real change. Not just something to listen to, but something to actually live out day by day.

Before Esther brings us part two this Sunday, take some time to listen (or re-listen) to last Sunday's message and let it go deeper: https://www.youtube.com/live/LxyvIBvt2dc?si=XK5AjgM0OT_MaJBF

Let’s come ready - not just to hear, but to respond!

⏰ Clocks go FORWARD tonight! (Yes…that means less sleep)

But tomorrow is Palm Sunday 🌿
A moment to celebrate.
A moment to reflect.
A moment to prepare our hearts for Easter.

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

☕ Don’t worry, tea & coffee will be ready.
🙌 We look forward to giving praise and worship with you.

Plus, we continue “Tales of the Unexplained” with James Petticrew bringing the message.

Join us at Parkhead Nazarene. There’s a place for you here.

World Day of Prayer 2026
“I will give you rest: Come.”
In a world that feels busy, loud, and heavy… what if we simply came to Jesus and found rest?

On (or near) the first Friday in March, Christians across the globe will gather using the same words, the same theme, the same heart.
And we’ll be doing the same right here in Parkhead.
📅 Friday 6th March
⏰ 1:30pm
📍 Parkhead Nazarene

Come and stand in prayer with believers around the world.
Come and hear stories of faith.
Come and receive the rest Jesus promises.
Bring a friend. Share this post. Let’s fill the room with prayer. 🙏

Recovery is a journey best traveled together.

Join us at Recovery Church this Friday at Parkhead Nazarene as we share, listen, and support one another on our paths to healing. Whether you’re battling addiction or life’s hardships, our door is open to all seeking a life filled with hope, love, and faith.

After a break over The Christmas and New Year period, Recovery Church returns on 6th February.

Every journey to recovery is unique, and at Recovery Church we believe in the power of sharing our experiences. Meet us on the first Friday of each month at Parkhead Nazarene to celebrate victories, offer encouragement, and lean on one another. If you’re on a path to healing, you’re welcome here.

A new year doesn’t mean new pressure — it means new mercy.
We step into today knowing God is already there.
Whatever this year holds, we don’t walk it alone.

Happy New Year everyone 🙌

Happy New Year!
A new year often arrives with mixed emotions — hope, uncertainty, expectation, and maybe even weariness. But before we step into new plans or set new goals, we’re reminded of a deeper truth: God is already there.

The same God who came near at Christmas now walks with us into the year ahead.
We don’t know everything this year will hold, but we know the One who holds it. His faithfulness did not expire at midnight, and His presence does not depend on our confidence or clarity.

As this new year begins, we don’t step forward alone. God goes with us; continuously offering new mercy, fresh strength, and steady hope for each day ahead.

May this year be shaped not by fear of the unknown, but by trust in a faithful God who walks with us, step by step.

What would it look like to begin this year trusting God with both your hopes and your uncertainties?

Happy Christmas everyone

Happy Christmas everyone

Still Good News

At Christmas, we celebrate the simple and powerful truth that God is with us.

Jesus entered the world not with noise or status, but with humility, bringing hope, peace, and light into real lives and real struggles.
No matter the season you’re walking through, the Christmas story reminds us that;
- God is near,
- God is present, and
- God is faithful.

"Today… a Saviour has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord."
— Luke 2:11

May this truth bring comfort and hope this Christmas.

Have a great day, wherever you are.
