DESCRIPTION
Glasgow City Council, in conjunction with Transport Scotland, are commencing works on St Georges Road. These works will see the creation of new public realm spaces, street space enhancements, tree planting and segregated active travel facilities. Details of the roads affected
• A road closure on St George’s Road will be implemented on Monday 14th September to undertake carriageway resurfacing. This closure will be split into 2 phases.
• Phase 1 – Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th from 08:00 until 16:30
Closure at the junction of Garscube Road to Gladstone Street (Gladstone Street to remain open). Local access only to St George’s Road and surrounding streets during this time.
• Phase 2 – Thursday 17th to Friday 18th from 08:00 until 16:30
Closure at the junction of Braid Street/North Woodside Road to St George’s Place (Braid Street to remain open). Local access only to St George’s Road and surrounding streets during this time.
St George’s Road will reopen to traffic between 16:31 and 07:59 with the closure being removed and reinstated daily
