It’s now just a week until our popular October football camps return!

Open to children aged 5–13, these camps provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment where young players can develop their football skills, build confidence, and make new friends.

Each day will focus on a different football theme, with participants taking part in a variety of technical drills, skill-based activities, teamwork exercises, and small-sided games. Alongside improving their technique, players will learn the importance of fair play, respect, and working together as a team.

Sessions are delivered by experienced UEFA Youth A Licensed coaches from the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust, who are also involved within the Partick Thistle Youth Academy programme.

Our Partick Thistle Red and Partick Thistle Black teams from Accepting Activity were delighted to participate in matchday two of the Scottish Mental Health League at Nethercraigs on Tuesday!

Both of our Accepting Activity teams enjoyed a competitive day of football in which they took part in five games. A big well done goes to our Partick Thistle Black team who managed to win three out of their five games.

Accepting Activity is a free football session which runs between 3pm-4.30pm on a Monday and Thursday weekly at Petershill Park. Food and water is provided after the session, and kit/football boots can be provided upon request dependant on availability. The session is targeted at adults 18+ from the homeless, asylum seeker & refugee communities and those who have experienced mental health issues. Last week our Thistle Works teams were delighted to be invited down to PowerLeague for a mini friendly tournament against Street Soccer Glasgow.

The afternoon was a great chance for our team to make friends, play football, score goals and promote inclusivity within sport.

A huge thanks to Street Soccer for welcoming our team and putting on a great afternoon! 🔴🟡

It was great to have our Scottish Gas Junior Para Festivals back on Sunday, in partnership with the Scottish FA. 🥳
Taking place monthly on Sundays, these festivals promote inclusivity in football, providing free, fun and engaging ASN specific football sessions for 5-14 year-olds.

🔴 THANK YOU, DAVID 🟡

A huge thank you to our coach David Malarky, who sadly leaves the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust after five years.

David was a well known member of the Trust for the five years he worked at Petershill, focusing on our football and Holiday Food Programme holiday camps. David mixed his work at the Trust with studies, now moving onto a career in teaching.

We wish David all the best in the future and she will always be a part of the Partick Thistle family. ❤️💛
