💔 Joanna Scott 💔

On Sunday 5th January 2025, our wonderful friend Joanna Scott sadly lost her bravely fought battle with cancer.

Funny, bold, ballsy, smart, kind, generous, artistically talented and oh so bloody resilient, are just a few descriptions of Joanna and I know so many of you will have many others.

Her husband Gavin has been in touch to say Joanna was grateful for the messages of support (including the flowers from her favourite Lola just a few weeks ago) throughout her illness, and those he continues to receive. He will provide funeral details as soon as these are known and has asked that as many of her friends are able to attend as possible. I will share here so please do share.

In Gavin's words:

"Joanna's horse life and horse friends were a favourite part of her life and gave much pleasure and laughs and satisfaction. She was loved and she knew it."

What a wonderful evening - one full of friends sharing special memories and stories with so much laughter around the room.

Dawn, you truly have made a huge difference to so many and we send you our love, appreciation and thanks.

Members past and present - we are planning a dinner in Cumbernauld on Saturday 28th October to get together (and use some funds we have in the Clubs budget too - so it's a win win).

Would be great to have as many there as possible and catch up properly.
