2033 will be the 150th anniversary of The Boys’ Brigade, founder by Sir William Alexander Smith in 1883. Whilst this is still a number of years away preparations are already underway to present this history as a celebration of the work and achievements of The Boys’ Brigade members past and present.

From the first meeting of the 1st Glasgow Company in 1883, there have been thousands of BB Companies around the world, some in existence for over a hundred years, and some only for a short period of time. The UK Brigade Archivist is working to create a record of every single Company world wide, as a tribute to the work which these BB Companies have provided in their local communities.

Assistance is required at a local level to assist with this project, as well as other historical projects for the 150th Anniversary. If you are interested in getting involved please let us know at [email protected] and we will pass on your details.
