✨Glasgow's Spirit of Christmas✨

A Christmas appeal supporting children and young people living in poverty across Glasgow. We are proud to say that we are one of GSOC's charity partners which means you can buy a gift for a child referred by us and over 100 other charity partners.

No child should wake up to no gifts on Christmas morning which is why we need your help to make this Christmas memorable for children in Glasgow ❤️

💜 GIVE A DAY. BRING A TEAM. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Could your workplace team help make a difference to people and families across Glasgow?

At The Halliday Foundation, we welcome businesses and groups who want to roll up their sleeves, give something back and enjoy a meaningful day together.

There are lots of ways to get involved:

🎨 Painting and decorating – help refresh our community spaces.
🚚 Collections and deliveries – help collect furniture and white goods for people moving from homelessness into a home. Driving isn’t essential!
📦 Warehouse support – sort donations and organise furniture and household essentials.
🏡 Houses2Homes – help prepare furniture and essential items to turn empty properties into welcoming homes.

🎄 With the festive season approaching, why not speak to us about seasonal volunteering too? Ways to help could include:

🎁 Sorting donated toys and wrapping Christmas gifts.
🥫 Organising food donations and packing festive hampers.
🧣 Collecting and sorting warm clothing and winter essentials.
🎉 Helping set up and support festive community events.
💛 Organising a Christmas donation drive at your workplace.

Whether your team can offer a one-off day or ongoing support, we’d love to discuss an opportunity that suits your group and our community’s needs.

🚐 VOLUNTEERS WANTED – HELP TURN A HOUSE INTO A HOME! 💛

The Halliday Foundation is looking for volunteers to join our Houses2Homes van team, collecting and delivering furniture and white goods to help people moving from homelessness into a home.

Getting the keys is just the beginning. A bed to sleep in, a sofa to sit on and a fridge for food can make a huge difference to someone starting again.

How you can help:
📦 Collect donated furniture and white goods.
🚐 Join our driver on collections and deliveries (driving is not essential).
🏠 Help load, unload and carry items into people’s homes.

The role involves lifting and carrying bulky items as part of a team. We’re looking for reliable, friendly people who want to make a practical difference in their community.

Have some time to spare? We’d love to hear from you!

📩 Email [email protected] or call 0141 258 4728 to find out more and tell us your availability.

Please share this post or tag someone who might be interested. Your time could help someone take their next step towards a fresh start. 💛
