Last week, we celebrated the end of another fantastic year working with young people from Glasgow Kelvin College. Once again, itโ€™s been a privilege to work with such an enthusiastic group and their tutor. Weโ€™re also grateful to the team Provan Hall for allowing us to use their space as a base for our learning.

Meeting once a month, the young people have taken part in a variety of activities designed to build their skills and knowledge around nature and the environment whilst also supporting health and wellbeing.

Some of the things weโ€™ve enjoyed include tree ID, conducting a pond survey, creating a wildflower meadow, learning to ID birds through sight and sound, nature journaling and a mini BioBlitz.

Weโ€™ve thoroughly enjoyed engaging in (sometimes challenging!) conversations, answering interesting questions and watching these young people develop their self-confidence and enjoyment of the natural world. Thank you!
