A Scottish Government programme delivered with and Dechomai, supporting young people aged 18–30 across Scotland to turn great ideas into real, thriving businesses.

Over 6 months, you’ll join a structured entrepreneurial apprenticeship, attend expert weekly masterclasses, gain hands‑on experience, and access incredible funding: £500 to test your concept, £5,000 to launch, and a top award of £30,000 for the standout winner.

Meet Tracey, a true example of what happens when ambition meets opportunity!

At just 19, Tracey joined Dechomai Ltd with zero business experience, but a heart ready to learn. She enrolled in our 6‑month DEW Ideation Programme back in 2022, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Over those months, she absorbed everything: how to start and run a business as an ethnic minority in the UK, how to manage finances, access grants, build networks, and so much more. She even joined us as an 8‑month Intern (Social Media Marketing Assistant) while learning turning knowledge into action immediately .

Fast forward to today: Tracey is 26, a successful business owner and a pro at using LinkedIn for growth. She didn’t keep the knowledge to herself! She brought two family members into Dechomai programmes, and they are now building their own success stories too.
