💚 World Mental Health Day from NUC 💚

Today, we recognise the importance of mental health and the need to take care of ourselves and one another. 🌍💚

Life can be challenging, and it’s okay to take a step back, rest, recharge and prioritise your wellbeing. Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. A simple check-in, a listening ear or a kind word can make a real difference. 💚

Let’s continue to break the stigma surrounding mental health, support one another and create a culture where everyone feels safe to speak up and seek support when they need it.

⚽🔥 FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, WHAT A NIGHT! 🔥⚽

What a fantastic session with the coaches from On The Ball Academy Glasgow 🙌👏 The young people did brilliantly, got involved, and engaged really well with each other.

Friday nights are about more than football, they’re about keeping young people safe, building positive relationships, having the tough conversations, and making sure every young person feels supported and heard.

A huge THANK YOU to McDonald's for funding this session and helping us create positive opportunities for our young people!

Thanks to David from Achieve More Scotland for coming along and speaking to the young people as well, we are looking forward to working with you soon.

🎉 What an amazing time at Ruchill Older Club! ❤️
We welcomed so many new faces to the club, and it was lovely to see everyone getting involved! 🥰

We spent some time planning ahead as a team, chatting about all the things they’d love to do in the coming weeks. After all, it’s their club, and we want them to help shape it into something they love!

Of course, no get-together is complete without some delicious food! 🍕🍗 We tucked into pizza, chips and chicken pakora from Sizzle & Spice Maryhill, absolutely delicious! 😋

We enjoyed listening to music, sharing laughs and finished off with a brilliant game of hide and seek! 😂

They absolutely loved the club and are already looking forward to next week!

❤️ Moments like these remind us exactly why we love what we do. Seeing people connect, have fun and feel part of something special makes it all worthwhile! 🫶✨

🎃👻 Fab day today! 🕷️🧡

We’ve had a spooktacular time making spiders, creating pumpkin masks and decorating spooky pancakes with loads of sprinkles! 🕸️🥞

We also enjoyed some delicious hot chocolate topped with marshmallows ☕🤎 the perfect treat for a cosy autumn day!

A big thank you to Tricia Mclaggan for supporting us today and lending a helping hand in the kitchen.
