🌿 Sit Fit with a Difference! 🌿

Our weekly Sit Fit session at Helenvale Flats took an unexpected turn yesterday when we arrived to find the community room being freshly painted! 🎨

Not to worry, the group made the most of the lovely weather and enjoyed a gentle stroll along the Clyde instead. 🚶‍♀️☀️ Along the way, we were treated to a beautiful sighting of a heron by the riverside!

A great afternoon of fresh air, exercise, good conversation, and a reminder that sometimes the best plans are the ones you don't expect. 💚

📣 Have a Story to Tell About Parkhead? We'd Love to Hear It! 📣

A new National Lottery-funded community project, Our Parkhead: One Community, Many Stories, is looking for local people to get involved.

The project aims to bring together memories, stories, old photographs, favourite places, recipes and traditions that make Parkhead special. These contributions will help create a community display celebrating the people and history of our area, and will form part of the journey towards Parkhead Housing Association's 50th anniversary next year.

Whether you've lived in Parkhead all your life or have fond memories to share, your story matters.

If you'd like to get involved or find out more, please get in touch with the project team at Parkhead Schoolhouse.

Our Women's Group meets every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm at Barrowfield Community Centre, and new members are always welcome.
