National Falls Prevention Week

As they say, prevention is better than cure!

Our Sit Fit sessions are a fun, friendly, and inclusive way to stay active, improve strength and balance, and help reduce the risk of falls. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or ability.

A big thank you to the terrific PC Jonny, who came along to Barrowfield Community Centre to deliver training on the vital Bleed Kit.

The session provided important information and practical guidance on how to respond in an emergency and potentially save lives while waiting for medical assistance. We are grateful to PC Jonny for taking the time to share his knowledge and help build confidence within our community.

A huge thank you to the fabulous volunteers from Nationwide who spent time litter picking at the skate park the other week! 👏🧹

They did a fantastic job helping to keep the area clean, tidy, and welcoming for everyone who uses it. Their hard work and community spirit are greatly appreciated.
