Glasgow Street Pastors

Glasgow Street Pastors Glasgow Street Pastors is a volunteer-based initiative with a mandate to be a visible Christian influence in the city of Glasgow.

Teams of Street Pastors walk the streets of Glasgow every weekend demonstrating compassionate care in the heart of the city. We operate a Safe Zone at St George’s Tron church every Saturday night, on Friday’s during the festive period and at other busy times in the city centre. The aim of all our activity is to help, to care and to listen. We work in partnership with local churches, Glasgow City C

ouncil, and Police Scotland, forming what is known as the Urban Trinity. GSP is also part of a larger international movement of Street Pastors. For more information, visit https://gsp.scot/

We had the privilege of being part of 'Glasgow the Welcoming City' at the City Chambers hosted by Glasgow Churches Together. What a wonderful afternoon of musicians, singing, dancing, poetry, scripture reading, prayers and reflection. Well done to all involved in making it such a celebration and a blessing. Thank you. 🥰

We are out tonight on the streets from 10.30pm til 3.30am and have our Safe Zone open in St George's Tron Church of Scotland G1 2JX, if you need any help including charging your phone or getting home safely.

We are at Praise Gathering 2026 in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June. Look out for some of our Street Pastors singing in the choir!
We will have our stand in the exhibition hall and we are available to take booking info for church talks about our ministry. We welcome the opportunity to tell you about what we do. We are always recruiting for Prayer and Street Pastors. See us for more information and at www.gsp.scot

GSPs were invited by Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Partnership to host a stand at the City Chambers today. We were able to share and network with other charities and organisations about the different ways we help and support people in Glasgow.

⚽️ 16/05/26 in Glasgow ⚽️

In the aftermath of yesterday’s events, Saturday team 1 were hard at work through the night removing 96 glass items from the streets.

The safe zone were kept busy assisting vulnerable people and ensuring they got home safely.

A word of thanks to our fellow organisations Glasgow Street Aid and Police Scotland Greater Glasgow for working alongside us with the common goal of making the streets of Glasgow a safer place.
