A first for The Women's Mic Podcast!

Our latest episode of The Women's Mic Podcast explored the fascinating topic "Living Left-Handed in a Right-Handed World."

This episode was especially memorable as we welcomed our very first male guest, Kay Olujobi, the son of one of our valued ACWA members. His perspective added a unique dimension to the discussion, reminding us that learning and understanding can come from every generation and every voice.

Together, we shared stories, explored the everyday realities of a "lefty' in a right-handed world, challenged common myths, and celebrated the diversity that makes left handed people special.

At ACWA, we're proud to create a platform where different experiences are heard, respected and celebrated. We're delighted to have marked this new milestone and look forward to many more meaningful conversations.

Today, ACWA members enjoyed a fantastic Medal Making Workshop at the Glasgow School of Art with Militsa Milenkova, the designer of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games medals.

Members took part in a hands-on workshop, designing and creating their own unique medals to take home while learning about the creativity and craftsmanship behind medal design.

The visit also included a tour showcasing the medal design process and the iconic medals created for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, giving members a fascinating insight into Scotland's sporting and artistic heritage.

A huge thank you to the Glasgow School of Art and the coordinating team for such an inspiring and memorable experience.
