Calling all artists!! We'd love to feature SWMS' community artwork on pins we hand out at conferences.

Please submit designs to be featured on pins at the Society for Marine Mammalogy's 16th Biennial Conference coming up in October!

Please submit designs to [email protected] by September 4th!
And a quick note that all designs submitted will be used for future merch regardless of the design(s) selected for SMM Pins.

SWMS Swag Feature! and her SWMS water bottle were at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Connecticut for a few days this summer doing some research on maritime history to include in an OER (open educational resource) she is currently writing. Mystic is the home to several vessels that are on the National Historic Landmark list - including the fishing schooner L.A. Dunton (currently under renovation) and the last surviving wooden whaling ship Charles W. Morgan!
