We were delighted to welcome John McGhee, Executive Director of Education at Glasgow City Council, and Dr Carole Campbell, Head of Inclusion, to The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.

During their visit, John and Carole toured the hospice and learned more about the care and support we provide, including a visit to our Young Adult Service.

It was a great opportunity to share more about our work supporting young people with life-limiting conditions and their families across Glasgow.

Thank you both for taking the time to visit us.

Having a clear-out? Don’t throw it away, donate it! 💙

On Saturday 29 August, we’re holding a Donation Drive-Thru at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice from 10am to 4pm.

Just pop your donations in the car, drive up to the hospice and we’ll take them off your hands.

We’d love your good-quality clothes, shoes, toys and bric-a-brac. Everything you donate will help raise vital funds to support hospice care for local patients and families.

To enter the Drive-Thru, please use the bottom entrance to the hospice at Bellahouston Park. We’ll have signs in place to point you in the right direction.

So, if you’ve been meaning to clear out that wardrobe, cupboard or spare room, now’s your chance!

Join us on Saturday 29 August between 10am to 4pm.

Seven of our amazing IPU nurses — Ann, Jackie, Andrew, Roshni, Fiona, Kayley and Rachael are taking on the ultimate challenge - jumping out a plane together for a tandem skydive! Not because they love heights, but because they want to raise vital funds to support patient care at the hospice.

Every day they walk through the doors of our hospice inpatient unit with compassion, courage, and kindness. They care for patients and families during life’s most precious and difficult moments, offering comfort, dignity, and unwavering support.

Now, they’re stepping far outside their comfort zone and you can help support them.

You can read more about their challenge and support them by clicking this link
