Education in Uganda gives children better opportunities and helps to break the cycle of poverty.

Every year we run this campaign to help get as many children as possible back to school with all the essential equipment.

Thanks for praying for John and his complicated eye operations to save his sight. Here is a very encouraging update. His sponsor bought him piglets for Christmas so he is excited about looking after them too.

We had our John visit us today after his exams. He said he was very happy that he is back in school and can now see clearly. He had also come to inquire from whether his piglet is due for mating so that he goes home for holidays knowing that he has to find a Boer.

God is good!

We may be a little quiet here at DP UK while we take some Summer Holiday time off 🌞

However, it certainly isn't quiet over in Uganda!!The staff, children and volunteers have been very busy with various events, training sessions, Church Services, Children's Rights Clubs, Community Awareness Programs, aswell as commemorating the World Day Against Trafficking.

It's all happening at the Dwelling Places Headquarters in Buloba 🏫

The on-site interim school is now up to window level!! This is a very exciting project for Dwelling Places. On completion, this much needed dedicated school building will provide -

3 x classrooms
3 x office spaces
plus separate male & female toilets.

It really is a "one step at a time" project and we trust in God for provision as the process continues 🙏
