The climate and nature crisis is no longer a future problem. It’s a national emergency unfolding now.
The National Emergency Briefing film brings together evidence from some of the UK’s leading experts on the growing impacts of climate and nature breakdown, from food security and public health to economic resilience and national security.
In November 2025, ten leading experts gathered in Westminster to brief over 1,200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media. Now, the National Emergency Briefing film brings that same evidence directly to you - to communities across the UK.
The film highlights the role we all play in responding to emergencies, from understanding trusted sources of information to supporting our communities during challenging situations. The UK government has not done enough to protect our nation, we are calling for a large-scale, grassroots response.
