Big Noise Govanhill Big Noise Govanhill is a music education and social change programme delivered by Sistema Scotland.

Big Noise Govanhill is delivered by Sistema Scotland with support from Glasgow City Council. Sistema Scotland is a charity which runs Big Noise children's orchestras based on the ideas of Venezuela's Maestro Jose Antonio Abreu.

We're back at work after a brilliant weekend with the Big Noise United Orchestra who performed in the Caird Hall in Dundee on Saturday. We're so proud of our young musicians from Govanhill who worked hard to create an incredible sound together with their friends from Big Noise centres across Scotland!

It was also wonderful to welcome back some of our alumni who came to join us on concert day - can you spot any familiar faces?

Our second group of young people are now on their way to join the Big Noise United Orchestra residential - meeting up with young musicians from Big Noise centres across Scotland to form a symphony orchestra! 🤩☔️🎺

Last Sunday we took seven young people to Hutcheson's Grammar for the Scottish Schools Orchestra Trust (SScOT) Play Away Day.
