Have you ever wished you could listen to the original music created by our Thursday Youth Music group? Well now you can! ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ

In June, the Thursday Youth Music group launched their debut mixtape - TH68. Created with the support of our dedicated tutors, Zoe and Katya, TH68 is an eclectic collection of six tracks written and performed by the young people themselves. Alongside the recording process, they also collaborated with Print Clan CIC to design their own album and merchandise art - taking part in a screenprinting workshop to hand make each t-shirt and tote bag ๐Ÿ˜

TH68 is now available to listen on Soundcloud. Click the link below to check it out -

A massive congratulations to the Thursday Youth Music group on the digital launch of their mixtape! ๐ŸŽ‰

You've been listening to 'Sounds Of The Underground'. We're signing off 'til next time, but stay tuned for more music! ๐Ÿ“ป๐ŸŽถ

โ€‹Last week, we finished up our 2026 Summer Project โ˜€๏ธ Over the course of two weeks, our amazing group explored music, art, radio, and gardening together, discovering new skills and growing together along the way. ๐ŸŒฑ

โ€‹We also had a trip to the Transport Museumโ€”where our teams worked together to complete a scavenger hunt by finding different modes of transport and recording their sounds for later! ๐Ÿ”Š

โ€‹To wrap it all up, our members put on an incredible final-day performance showcasing their original songs, live radio recordings, and the giant custom subway doors they built together! ๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŽค

โ€‹We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved and everyone who supported the projectโ€”we couldnโ€™t have done it without you!

โ€‹We hope everyone loved being part of the project as much as we did, and we can't wait to see what's next for Carriage 117!! โœจ

We really got to make the most of this wonderful weather during Week 2 of our 'Sounds of the Underground' project ๐ŸŒค

On Monday and Tuesday, we continued working with Radiophrenia Glasgow on discovering unique and interesting sounds to record before running off into the garden to burn off some energy ๐ŸŒฟ

We even created our own GIANT subway doors to use in our end-of-project performance on the final day! We split into two groups and worked as a team to decide how each door should look. It can be really challenging to include everyone's ideas into a group project and each group did an amazing job listening to one another and working together! ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

The 'Sounds of the Underground' project may have finished up yesterday, but we still have lots of fun pictures and memories to share!

On Day 3, we took a trip to the Riverside Museum to learn all about the history of transportation ๐Ÿš‚ We split into four teams and raced around the museum to complete a three-part scavenger hunt! We had to find hidden gems like the oldest car on the Arnold Clark wall and "out-of-place" animals. Using the recording devices kindly lent to us by Radiophrenia Glasgow, we captured a huge array of the wild and wonderful sounds that can be heard in the museum ๐Ÿ“ข

Check out the last two photos to see all the tie-dye t-shirts created by the young people to wear on the trip!
